TYPICAL DAILY SCHEDULE

Timetables are given out at Registration on the Sunday afternoon. This is what a typical day looks like at Chester Choral Week:

As you can see the days are carefully structured in order to optimise learning for both the choral works and the small group repertoire. There is an expectation that all singing sessions will be attended as this will provide you with the best learning experience. Time is built into the programme to enjoy meeting new people, reacquainting with past participants and directors, as well as social events and leisure time.

On arrival on the Sunday afternoon, music will be issued – dependent on the choir to which a member has been allocated. Sopranos and altos can state a preference for singing in either a mixed choir or the upper voices choir when applying. Accommodation will be assigned to those who are residential. Following the afternoon Welcome Meeting and vocal warm up, there will be a first full evening rehearsal to which all membership categories are invited.
