Chester Choral Week presents two concerts during the week. Choral Concord, the chamber choir concert is usually held in St Thomas of Canterbury Church, Chester and is when each choir performs, in public, the music it has been learning during the week.
The other choirs provide an additional built-in enthusiastic and supportive audience! The content is highly varied and could include anything from a Tallis motet to an arrangement from a musical or beyond.
Visit our Gallery for further information about the venues used.
The works that have been performed in the chamber choirs concert in recent years are shown below.

…for me the unique feature of this week is undoubtedly the opportunity to divide up to sing chamber choir repertoire and then to perform the great works with nearly 200 others..
